Welcome to Psoriasis Community Canada, a site dedicated to psoriasis education and support, from a practical perspective. Our goal is to get this challenging and misunderstood skin condition out into the open, and to help you manage your life with psoriasis, whether by providing helpful information on the basics of the condition and its treatment, by showing you how to better cope with both the physical symptoms and the many possible emotional and social difficulties that may accompany this condition, or by providing you with a safe place to interact with people who face similar challenges.

One very important part of this website is a section called Their Stories , which features real patients talking about their own experiences with psoriasis, and what they’ve learned over the years.

Psoriasis can sometimes make you feel alone and isolated, and our hope is that these stories shed a little light on some of the realities of living with the condition, as well as offer some insight into your own particular situation.

Plus, there’s an entire section dedicated to helping you speak effectively to your health-care team about your symptoms, as well as some online tools you can use to work with your doctor to manage your therapy in the Psoriasis Toolkit  area of the site.
